Emily in the Women's Pair Final at European Rowing Championships

Quercus Sports' Scholars, Emily Hegarty, and her partner Fiona Murtagh competed at the European Rowing Championships in the Women's Pair this week. 

Emily, who studies Biological & Chemical Sciences, and Fiona won their repechage in fine style to qualify for Saturday's A final. 

In the A final they powered through the second half of the race to finish fourth behind Romania, Britain and the Netherlands.
