Celebrating the Physiology Class of 2026
The achievements of our final-year BSc Physiology students were celebrated this week at a special end-of-year gathering marking the conclusion of another successful academic year for the programme.
Despite less-than-summery weather, staff and students came together to recognise the dedication, resilience, and outstanding performance demonstrated throughout the final stages of the degree programme. The event celebrated the completion of research projects, final examinations, and the culmination of years of hard work and commitment.
The BSc Physiology programme continues to thrive through the collective efforts of students, academic staff, research supervisors, and postgraduate researchers, all of whom contribute to a dynamic and supportive learning environment.
As the Physiology Class of 2026 — alongside all CK402 students — prepares to embark on the next stage of their professional and academic journeys, the Department extends its warmest congratulations and best wishes for the future. We look forward to following their achievements in the years ahead.
The Department also wishes to acknowledge and sincerely thank Professor Niall Hyland, who steps down after several years of exceptional leadership as Programme Director. His commitment and contribution to the continued success and development of the programme are greatly appreciated.
With new staff appointments, innovative modules, and an expanding range of research project opportunities, the Department is already looking forward to welcoming the next cohort of students and continuing to build on the strength of the programme.
