A HAT-TRICK OF CELEBRATIONS
Physiology Department Marks a Triple Celebration
On Monday, we celebrated with the BSc Physiology Class of 2025. Congrats to Leah Savage our top student this year. Best research project prize was shared between Leah Savage and Wiktoria Palka. Awab Ismael was voted student of the year by his classmates.
Tuesday provided for the inaugural celebration of MSc Clinical Measurement Physiology. An outstanding performance by all students in the programme with top place shared by Emer Sheehan and Aoife Walsh and best research project awarded to Erika Kenny. Looking forward to seeing this programme expand and continue to flourish.
On Wednesday, we celebrated with the class and contributors to the BSc Medical and Health Sciences programme. Congratulations to Louise Walsh who was awarded best research project. Louise worked with Dr John Mackrill in the Department of Physiology.
Prof Mark Evans (Edinburgh), Dr Joe Welch (Birmingham) and Dr Eric Downer (TCD) were external examiners providing oversight and helpful comments and we are grateful to them.
