2019
Two in a Row for Physiology
Congratulations to Michael B Vaughan (BSc Physiology Class of 2018) who was awarded Graduate of the Year in the College of Science, Engineering & Food Science (SEFS).
This is the second year in a row for a Physiology Student taking the colleges top spot, with James Healy (BSc Physiology Class of 2017) receiving the award last year. Michael is continuing his work as a PhD student within the department, supported by the Eli Lily SEFS scholarship. His self devised project aims to develop a human cerebroid model of Alzheimer’s disease, for studying disease cause and its possible prevention.
