A Lunchtime Seminar with Professor Martha Hickey, University of Melbourne

Empowering women to manage menopause with a particular focus on the cancer context
Professor Martha Hickey presented a lunch time seminar on the 13th June 2022 in School of Nursing and Midwifery, University College Cork on the topic of “empowering women to manage menopause with a particular focus on the cancer context”.
Professor Martha Hickey is a Professor of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at the University of Melbourne and Adjunct Professor of Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Reproductive Sciences at Yale University, CT. Professor Hickey runs the largest menopause services in Australia and she established the first Multidisciplinary service for women with Menopausal Symptoms after Cancer.
During the seminar Professor Hickey shared her expertise relating to the menopause and the novel strategies she has used to share that awareness and understating. Professor Hickey answered the many questions asked by attendees with enthusiasm and great knowledge.
