June 2020 Summer Virtual Conferrings School of Nursing and Midwifery

A virtual celebration
The conferring ceremony was streamed live at 3pm on the 18th June 2020.
Students from the BSc (Hons) (Nursing- Children's & General-Integrated), BSc (Hons) (Nursing- General) and the BSc (Hons) (Nursing Studies) received their virtual parchment.
Dr Caroline Dalton was conferred with her doctoral degree for her thesis titled: “End-of-life care supports and decision making practices in specialist intellectual disability residential services”.
President Patrick O’Shea, Professor Helen Whelton and Simon Coveney (An Tánaiste) helped mark this exceptional day for the students.
The staff of the School of Nursing and Midwifery offer their Congratulations to all of the class of 2020! The graduation marks a wonderful achievement and we hope that the gradaunds are all celebrating with their families and friends.
