Dr Mary Tumelty Speaks in Washington D.C. and Participates in Workshop at Harvard Law School

Dr Mary Tumelty recently spoke at the Law and Society Associations Annual Conference in Washington D.C. and participated in an Advanced Mediation Workshop at the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School.
The program on negotiation serves as an interdisciplinary research centre dedicated to developing the theory and practice of negotiation and dispute resolution in a range of public and private settings.
This prestigious course attracted mediation professionals from diverse backgrounds and industries, and was delivered by leading experts in the field of alternative dispute resolution.
Speaking at the Law and Society Associations Annual Conference in Washington D.C., Dr Tumelty presented a paper titled "Lawyers and Medical Negligence Mediation – Perspectives from Ireland” as part of a session on “Re-framing Forms of Negligence and Oppression”.
Participation in this conference was supported by the Head of Law Strategic Fund.
