Dr Conor O'Mahony addressed the Oireachtas Committee on Justice and Equality on 20 February 2019.

During his opening statement to the Oireachtas Justice Committee Hearing on Family Law Reform, Dr Conor O'Mahony focused on two issues, the obligation to ascertain the views of children, and the structure of the courts system.

As Dr O'Mahony explains, these two issues are connected, and making adequate provision for child participation necessitates a degree of structural reform also.
