Blogs from the Census 1926 event are published on the CSO website!
5 Oct 2026
The School of History is delighted to announce the publication of a series of blogs arising from our 25 May event on the UCC/CSO Census Event
The blogs and articles are based on some of the presentations delivered at a University College Cork (UCC) symposium on Census 1926 in May 2026, which was supported by the CSO. It brought together leading speakers from across history, demography, statistics, genealogy, archival studies, cultural studies, and linguistics to explore the rich insights contained within the Census 1926 records.
