Dr Laurence Davis wins Kenneth M. Roemer Award for Innovative Course Design.

Dr Laurence Davis has won the Kenneth M. Roemer Award for Innovative Course Design. The award is sponsored by the North American Society for Utopian Studies.  

Founded in 1975, The Society for Utopian Studies (SUS) is an international, interdisciplinary association devoted to the study of utopianism in all its forms, with a particular emphasis on literary and experimental utopias. 

Dr Davis is the recipient of the 2018 award for the syllabus of his GV6103 module: "Re-Imagining Democratic Politics in a Changing World".

The module is offered to postgraduate students in the Department of Government and Politics.
