First graduation of a 'Clinical Fellow'

Dr Rícheal ní Riordáin pictured at the September 2011 UCC conferrings having been conferred with her PhD for a thesis entitled “Development and Validation of an Oral Medicine-Specific Quality of Life Questionnaire for Patients with Chronic Oral Mucosa Conditions”. Dr ní Riordáin is the first PhD graduate from the Cork University Dental School and Hospital who has followed the new “Clinical Fellow” scheme which has been introduced to encourage young dentists to experience academic dentistry in UCC. She is currently studying medicine in the UK with a view to a career in oral medicine”
