Annual Reporting to the EPA

After you have been issued with an EPA consent conditions/letter of agreement in respect of your GMM/GMO contained use activities, you are required to submit an annual report to the EPA.

Please include details of any changes to the register, corresponding Risk Assessments, containment measurements or changes in waste disposal in your annual report. Report forms can be downloaded from the links below.

Please note that, effective from 1st January 2013, users of Class 1 GMMs are no longer required to submit Annual Reports in respect of Class 1 GMM contained use activities, except where they have made modifications to their activities during the year. Users of Class 2, Class 3, GMOs (GM Plants/GM Animals) will continue to be required to submit Annual Reports.

The Annual Reports will be sent to the EPA via the Biosafety Advisor to meet the EPA deadline. Please send on an electronic copy of your Annual report to by the last Friday in February so that reports are sent to the EPA in a timely manner.
