The Cork Geological Association(CGA) was founded in 1992. CGA provide monthly lectures and regular geological fieldtrips for interested amateurs and the general public.
The association is an outreach activity of the Geology discipline, School of Biological, Earth and Environmental Sciences, University College Cork. Lectures are held in the Enterprise Centre, North Mall Campus, UCC (Eircode for venue: T23 TK30). The Cork Geological Association is grateful for the continued support of the Geological Survey Ireland.
