Prehistoric Colours at the Discovery Science Festival

Staff and students from the School of BEES hosted a very successful exhibit at the Discovery Science Festival at City Hall from November 16th to 19th.

Over 3,000 visitors - including schoolchildren, teachers and the general public alike - had a chance to meet our feathered dinosaur Microraptor 'in the flesh', examine colourful fossils under the microscope, take part in a fossil beetle hunt and play our fossilisation video game!

The exhibit was a great success - with very grateful thanks to all seventeen students and postdocs who volunteered their time and energy at City Hall
