News and Updates

The TEJP will run our 'Rights Aware ECHR' seminar series in November.

4 Nov 2024

The TEJP is pleased to announce a series of seminars on the European Convention on Human Rights and the rights it affords Travellers and Roma, specifically focusing on how the European Court of Human Rights has applied these within its judgments.

These events will be of interest to Travellers and Roma, Community Organisations, Legal Clinic staff and lawyers. They aim to provide key information regarding relevant Council of Europe rights frameworks, including the ECHR, and provide an understanding of the experiences of taking such cases from a practice based perspective.

Run during November 2024, these events will provide information regarding specific rights protections, the experience of taking cases to the European Court of Human Rights and an understanding of how the Court has applied these rights through its judgments.
