Learning Design Workshops now open for booking
CIRTL is here to help with new Learning Design workshops. The focus of these 90minute interactive workshops, hosted in the Hub, is on the alignment of your curriculum with the Academic Strategy and the Connected Curriculum. These workshops will also give you space and time to analyse your existing curriculum and tweak your teaching and assessment design.
Do you get that nagging feeling that your curriculum could do with a refresh but you don’t know where to start? Have you come across some interesting ideas from your peers but are unsure how to implement them for your students? Do you want to involve your students more in the co-design of curricula?
CIRTL is here to help with new Learning Design workshops. The focus of these 90minute interactive workshops, hosted in the Hub, is on the alignment of your curriculum with the Academic Strategy and the Connected Curriculum. These workshops will also give you space and time to analyse your existing curriculum and tweak your teaching and assessment design.
Date: Wednesday, February 26th 12.30-2pm
Location: Active Learning Room, Ground Floor, Hub, UCC
You can register for the Feb 26th or upcoming workshops via this link (https://forms.gle/HWDSuJJXRwcym77j8) or by emailing Patrick Kiely (patrick.kiely@ucc.ie). Refreshments will be provided during the workshop. This workshop will be repeated a number of times during the semester to facilitate participation.
Further Learning Design workshops will address themes including:
- Universal Design for Learning(UDL)
- Teaching large classes (over 50)
- Group Work
