UCC's Five Year Strategic Plan Launched
15 Feb 2023University College Cork (UCC) publishes its five-year strategic plan today – Securing Our Future - (Tuesday 7th February 3pm) which will see a step change in research impact at the university, its evolution as the university of choice for postgraduate education with the development of exciting new postgraduate programmes, widening student access to higher education and creating the first dedicated sustainability and climate action office in Ireland’s higher education sector.

Registration is now open for the UW0005 University Wide Module in Sustainability
10 Jan 2023Registration is now open for UW0005 University Wide Module in Sustainability, a recent recipient of the President’s Award for Excellence in Teaching. Sessions will take place online on Thursdays from 6-8pm, commencing Thursday 26 January. The theme of the module is “Putting Sustainability in its place, putting yourself in the picture” and it is open to students, staff and the general public. The module can be taken for additional credit (5 Credits), Digital Badge, or Interest Only.

- It will save 560,000 plastic bottles and 1.4 million coffee cups during a graduate’s four-year degree.
