School of Engineering Launch 3 Eli LIlly Appointments

On November 11th Deputy President, Professor John O'Halloran, along with Head of College of SEFS, Professor Sarah Culloty and Head of School, Professor Liam Marnane, hosted the Launch of 3 new Eli Lilly appointments. 

The School is delighted to mark and celebrate Eli Lilly’s relationship with UCC and the School of Engineering and the appointment of an Eli Lilly Lecturer in Biochemical/Biopharmaceutical Engineering (Dr Fatemeh Kavousi) (from Oct 2019) and an Eli Lilly Adjunct Professor in Biopharmaceutical Engineering (Prof. Jarka Glassey) (2019−2022), as well as the (current) advertising of an Eli Lilly Lectureship in Biopharmaceutical Engineering/Biopharmaceutical Processing.

The launch was attended by a high level Lilly delegation including newly appointed Todd Winge, who came to Kinsale in June from the US and is very happy to visit UCC for the first time.
