Quercus Scholarship Awarded to School of Engineering Student

Third year Process & Chemical Engineering student Daniel Maguire has been awarded the Quercus University Scholar for the College of Science, Engineering and Food Science for 2019/20.

The Quercus scholarship awards are the highest honour the university bestows on its students across a range of areas. Pictured with Daniel is his father Frank Maguire, who is a longstanding visiting lecturer in the School of Engineering on the Civil, Structural & Environmental Engineering programme, which he combines with his role as Director of RPS Group in Cork. The School of Engineering would like to warmly congratulate the Maguire clan on their achievements and contributions to our School.
