This award, which consists of a prize of €2,000 and a parchment, is made annually to the most distinguished student of the year.
The award, which is normally confined to students who have graduated during the preceding session in the College/Faculty first chosen by them and in the minimum prescribed time is made after the presentation of a report from the Accreditation Committee. In making the award both academic distinctions and the part played in the public life of the University are taken into consideration.
