My main research interest is in fatness as a cultural, social and political phenomenon, as well as a lived experience. My other interests, such as philosophy of medicine and health, ethics, philosophy of food, and philosophy of fitness, all stem from my interest in fatness. I draw on history of philosophy, analytic philosophy, phenomenology, and feminist philosophy among others. Currently, I’m also studying for an MSc in Obesity.

AOS/AOC: Philosophy of health and medicine, especially in relation to obesity/fatness; Phenomenology, especially Husserl; French existentialism, especially Beauvoir; feminist philosophy; ethics; history of philosophy.
