The School of Clinical Therapies offers full or part-time research degrees, either at masters level or at doctoral level for Occupational Therapists and Speech & Language Therapists. Currently, programmes offered include:
- Taught Masters Programme - MSc in Evidence Based Therapy Practice Course Code: CKX15
- Masters by Research - Master of Sciences (MSc) and Master of Philosophy (MPhil) Course Code: CKY46 and CKY47
- Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Course Code: CKZ75 (full-time) and CKZ76 (part-time)
- Professional Doctorate in Occupational Therapy Course Code: CKZ63 (full-time) and CKZ64 (part-time)
Unfortunately in 2019-2020 we are unable to take new students into our MSc Taught Programme (Evidence Based Therapy Practice).
How to Apply for our MSc Programme: Application is on-line at www.pac.ie/ucc All required documentation must be sent in hard copy to The Postgraduate Applications Centre, 1, Courthouse Square, Galway.
Closing Date for Applications: If you want to apply for the full Masters (5 modules), the Diploma (4 modules) or the Certificate (2 modules) then you must apply by 5th October each year. If you only want to apply for 1 CPD Module then you can apply in Semester 2 by 7th January each year (this CPD Module can be carried forward towards the Certificate, Diploma or Masters).
