On Wednesday 11th February, Dr Brendan Noonan Vice Dean of Undergraduate Education welcomed prospective students from Further Education and Training campuses across Cork City and County to the School of Nursing and Midwifery UCC.
This group of students are hoping to progress to undergraduate Nursing and Midwifery programmes offered by the School.
The visit involved a presentation of programmes on offer, a Q&A session and a tour of the School, inclusive of the School's state of the art Clinical Skills Simulation Resource Centre. It is hoped that the visit will help break down barriers and ease many of the fears and concerns that students may have had about progressing to University.
