Postgraduate Parchment Ceremony - Congratulations to our graduates

PG Parchment Ceremony
The School of Nursing & Midwifery Postgraduate Parchment Ceremony for 2022-2023 graduates took place on Friday, February 23rd, 2024, in Brookfield Health Sciences Complex (BHSC), UCC. Despite the rain, the atrium of the building had an air of excitement from 1pm on the day with the Ceremony beginning at 2.30pm. In total, 69 graduates from 13 different programmes joined us in G01 BHSC. They accepted their parchment from our Head of School, Professor Patricia Leahy-Warren. We celebrated the achievement of a further 52 graduates in absentia. Dr Ger White, Assistant Director of Nursing, South Infirmary Victoria University Hospital, Cork, was our guest speaker. Dr White gave an inspirational talk to our graduates and their guests. A reception was held for all attendees in the Restaurant, BHSC, after the Ceremony where the celebrations continued. Well done to all the graduates of academic year 2022-2023.
