Niall O'Mahony Perpetual Award

In memory of Mr. Niall O'Mahony (1964-2003)
The Niall O Mahony Perpetual Award has been a staple of Mental Health Nursing Interns end of year celebration since its inception in 2004.
Niall O Mahony was a nurse tutor who passed unexpectedly, and this award honours his legacy. The Niall O Mahony award is given to a Mental Health Nursing student who excels across the four years of the programme. A student who demonstrates compassion, and the willingness to go the extra mile for those they care for.
This year’s Niall O Mahony Perpetual Trophy was awarded to Mr Cian McCarthy in recognition of his outstanding achievements.
