This is our 2nd transnational meeting where we have come together as a team to work collaboratively to achieve the project outcomes.
On the 8th of May 2023 Professor Josephine Hegarty and Dr Maria Caples welcomed GenoNurse partners to the School of Nursing and Midwifery, University College Cork. Project partners include Adjunct Prof. Arja Halkoaho, Ms Nina Smolander, Ms Mari Laaksonen and Ms Essi Ylistalo from Finland, Dr Marija Milavec Kapun, Dr Lucia from Slovenia and Professor Angelo Dante and Professor Cristina Petrucci from Italy. GenoNurse is an Erasmus+KA220-HED-Cooperation partnership in higher education. GenoNurse is an Erasmus+ partnership grant which seeks to support the development of Genetic and Genomic Nursing Education (GenoNurse) in Europe. The main objective of the GenoNurse project is to create a model for European Genetic and Genomic Nursing Education which supports nursing teachers and students to develop their knowledge and skills in genetics and genomics. The GenoNurse project will generate four project results, GenoNurse Model, GenoNurse Community, GenoNurse Roadmap and GenoNurse E-publication. This is our 2nd transnational meeting where we have come together as a team to work collaboratively to achieve the project outcomes.
