Dr Moira O’Donovan (RIP)

It is with the greatest sadness that we acknowledge the passing of our wonderful colleague., Dr Moira O’Donovan.
Staff in the School of Nursing and Midwifery had the pleasure of working with Moira since she began working in the School in 2003 and most recently were able to congratulate her on the wonderful celebration of achieving her Doctorate.
Moira was an incredibly positive force in the School of Nursing and Midwifery supporting students and a great work colleague. She had a particular interest in supporting students to be the best healthcare communicators possible and her work in this area is an important legacy.
While we are all very sad to hear of this news, we also send our deepest condolences to Moira’s family and in particular her husband Derry and daughter Aoife.
Someone so special can never be forgotten, may her soul rest in peace.
