School of Nursing and Midwifery Celebrating 25 Years at University College Cork
November is a busy month in the School of Nursing and Midwifery, UCC.
The school is celebrating 25 year in existence. Please find attached a poster which synopsises the dates and details of some of these celebratory events. Your participation and support of these and other school related activities is appreciated.
The official opening of an Exhibition and Book Launch is scheduled for Wednesday 27th November at 18.00hrs in the Jennings Gallery, Brookfield Health Sciences Complex, UCC. Visitors will have an opportunity to view the exhibition which includes artefacts and photographs which depict the evolution of nursing, midwifery and healthcare in the region. As a School of Nursing and Midwifery, staff and students are really excited to be celebrating 25 years here in UCC. The history of the Catherine McAuley School of the Nursing and Midwifery, UCC is summarised in a text co-authored by Professor Geraldine McCarthy and Professor Josephine Hegarty will also be launched on the night.
