19th International Nursing Ethics Conference
School of Nursing and Midwifery, 1-2 September 2018
The conference theme, ‘Gender, Justice, and Care attracted participants from all over the world - Japan, US, Canada, Brazil, Norway, Finland, Germany, Australia, Tasmania – who presented papers on ethical care, ethical dilemmas and professional practice on the 1st and 2nd of September 2018. Delegates were welcomed to UCC and Cork on Saturday morning by Prof. Helen Whelton (Dean of College of Medicine and Health, UCC), Dr. Joan McCarthy (School of Nursing and Midwifery, UCC), Prof. Ann Gallagher, (Director, International Care Ethics Observatory, University of Surrey), Prof. Eileen Savage (Head of School of Nursing and Midwifery, UCC).
