Dr Jerry Reen completes Professional Skills for Research Leaders programme
A new programme for Researcher Leaders from Epigeum, Professional Skills for Research Leaders (PSRL), was launched in UCC in 2015.
Accredited by the Institute of Leadership Management in London (ILM), and organised by Mary O’Regan (HR, UCC), it is a blended development programme in Research Leadership incorporating six on-line programmes and six roundtable sessions. The programme links aspects such as branding and social media, funding, and collaboration, with the everyday operation of research groups, managing research strategy, and positioning. Dr Reen, a Senior Researcher in the BIOMERIT Research Centre, School Of Microbiology was one of the participants in the first roll out of this programme. The graduation ceremony took place in the North Council Room on Thursday 17th December 2015.
