A welcome return
As university life returns to some semblance of normality, we share glimpses into recent moments that have brought the UCC community back together on campus.
While Teams meetings and virtual coffees kept us up-to-date on what was happening around the UCC community over the past challenging 20 months, the return to campus in September brought collective relief and smiles to the faces of students and staff alike.
After an unprecedented year-and-a-half spent away from our beloved campus and community, walking through the ceremonial gates on Western Road and past the iconic Quad, sharing a greeting with familiar faces and welcoming the new, was something truly worth celebrating.
The following photos were captured at Freshers’ Week 2021 on Saturday, 25 September and at the Autumn Conferrings 2021.
