In October 2021 President of UCC, Professor John O’Halloran, launched UCC’s first Digital Master Plan. An important milestone in the University’s goal to support society in the digital age.  The UCC Strategic Plan, Securing Our Future,  was launched in February 2023 and offers IT Services an opportunity to update our Digital Master Plan and to ensure that our efforts are fully aligned with the strategic goals of UCC.

IT Services held a session for the University Leadership Team earlier this month dedicated to digital.  At this session we reviewed our commitments to each pillar of the Strategic Plan, and we are committed to updating the UCC Digital Master Plan to reflect the priorities in the UCC Strategic Plan.  We are also working through a consultation process with the appropriate academic, research and administration units. We have a workshop at the end of March for IT Services staff to also contribute to the implementation of our Digital Master Plan.

We are planning to have our updated Digital Master Plan signed off and launched by September 2023 and we will share more details about the launch closer to the time.
