Introducing ITBytes, IT Services new podcast, hosted by Noelette Hurley featuring Deirdre Keane and produced by Eoin O'Sullivan. Noelette, Deirdre and Eoin work in IT Services. Noelette as an IT Analyst working mostly on web related activities, Deirdre as Communications Coordinator and Eoin as an IT Analyst working within AVMS. ITBytes will chat about all things IT in UCC and introduce you to a variety of guests from UCC staff, students, alumni and beyond.  Our aim is to inform, demystify IT and share some interesting stories with the guests featured on the podcast.

The second ITBytes episode is a conversation with Conor Stout. Conor is a 3^rd year BIS student, works in Student IT and was one of the student champions in the pilot of Ally in 2021. Conor chats about growing up with technology, working in Student IT Services, how digital has impacted on fashion and lots more. The next episode will feature Peter Flynn.  Peter Flynn retired from UCC in 2018 after working in IT Services since the earlier 1980’s. Peter talks about what he wanted to be when he grew up, how he was part of Ireland’s first website in UCC (9^th website in the world!), his opinion on the future of technology, his marmalade recipe and much more.
