Courses

What courses can I do?

UCC has two inclusive education courses for adults with intellectual disabilities:

  1. The Certificate in Social Citizenship
  2. The Certificate in Disability-Inclusive Practice

Each course lasts for one year, and includes a 3-month paid work experience placement.

Our courses are underpinned by a rights-based agenda, and provide opportunities for "co-learning" between students with and without disabilities, for mutual benefit.

How much does it cost?

Piles of coins lined up with a graduation hat on top of one pile

The course fees are €2,000 each year.

If you think you will have difficulty paying the fees, you can apply for a bursary.

A bursary is money to help you pay the fees.

It may cover all or some of the fees.
