RTÉ Brainstorm workshop success for Graduate Attributes Programme as our first article is publishedwith RTÉ

Brainstorm is a partnership between RTÉ and Irish third level institutions including University College Cork, where the academic, research and professional services community contribute to public debate, reflect on what’s happening in the world around us, and communicate fresh thinking on a broad range of issues.

Combining opinion, analysis, and features, and sitting alongside RTÉ's online journalism and content, RTÉ Brainstorm provides readers with informed views and perspectives on a vast range of topics.

RTÉ Brainstorm editor Jim Carroll held a workshop for UCC staff in February and the Graduate Attributes Programme team were excited to pitch our ideas for potential features around student transitions in, through and out of university.

Career progression has shifted on its head in recent years. Nowadays, the typical career path seems more squiggly than straight up and our first contribution to RTÉ Brainstorm hones in on  this shift, and the five skills new employees need to harness for career success. The article also features our podcast with UCC graduate Maeve O'Keefe who discusses the importance of being socially responsible.
