The Fifth Annual Public Lecture Series of the Centre for Local and Regional Governance

Department of Government and Politics is delighted to announce that its Fifth Annual Public Lecture Series of the Centre for Local and Regional Governance takes place on Thursday the 27th of February 2020 at 6.30pm in Boole 1.
WHAT IS THE FUTURE OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT?
The event will be opened by the Lord Mayor of Cork – COUNCILLOR JOHN SHEEHAN
The CLRG Annual Report 2019 will be launched by the President of UCC – PROFESSOR PATRICK O’SHEA
The event will be chaired by the Head of the Department of Government and Politics – DR. THERESA REIDY
The three main speakers are:
- JOHN PAUL PHELAN TD – Minister of State for Local Government and Electoral Reform
- ANN DOHERTY – Chief Executive of Cork City Council
- COUNCILLOR ELISA O’DONOVAN – Member of Limerick City and County Council
