Evening Courses

Evening Classes 2019 - Registration closed!

Our evening class students take 40 hours over two terms and a total of 20 weeks; this is divided on one teaching session per week consisting of 2 hours.

Term 1: 10 weeks from 30th September 2019 - 6th December 2019. 

Term 2: 10 weeks from 13th January 2020 - 20th March 2020.

Fees: 350€. For UCC Staff, Student, OAPs or Unemployed: 300€

Please note: Since all our evening courses are self-funding and dependant on a minimum number of people, we are regrettably unable to offer any refund (in full or in part) once the course has started. However, fees (in full) will be returned in case a course does not go ahead due to too few participants.

Placement: If you are looking to take the A2 or B1 evening class, please go to https://www.cornelsen.de/sprachtest/1.c.3488298.de and take the placement test for the desired language level. Send your results to the co-ordinator of the evening classes, Dragan Miladinović (dragan.miladinovic@ucc.ie) who will contact you with regards to a recommendation.

For A2: Motive A2 Kursbuch + Arbeitsbuch (course book and work book), 

For B1: Motive B1 Kursbuch + Arbeitsbuch (course book and work book).

The books will be available for purchase in the bookstore on campus in September. 


Age Policy: 

For pedagogical reasons our policy is to accept only people who are age 17 or above, and are in their Leaving Certificate year or beyond.
