Evening Classes 2024/2025

Introduction to Dutch language for Beginners

The aim of this course is to give learners a basic introduction to the Dutch language. In this 5-week beginners’ course, students will engage in basic conversation and will gain an understanding of Dutch culture.

5 weeks (2 x 50 min teaching sessions per week)

Price: €70

Time: Tuesdays, 6pm – 8pm (2x50 min), venue on campus tbc

Commencing: Tuesday, 25th February 2025, until 25th March 2025.

German evening classes starting again September 2025

The courses consist of 10 weeks per semester, 2x50 minutes per week (a total of 20 weeks over the year).

The cost for 20 weeks is 350€ (300€ for UCC students and staff, unemployed and OAP).

Registration will commence early Summer 2025.

Course and work books are used for all three courses (Motive A1, A2, and B1 respectively), which are available in the Lowercase Bookstore on campus in limited numbers. They are also available in most bookstores online. Please await confirmation that a course will be running before purchasing your books.

Please note that the running of the courses is subject to a minimum student number. If a course does not run, you will receive a full refund. No refunds/cancellations are accepted once a course has started.
