Evening Courses

Evening Classes 2021/2022 - Registration open!

This year, we will be offering two types of courses:

1) Special Collaboration with the Goethe Institute Dublin

2) Departmental Evening Courses

1) Evening course in cooperation with the Goethe-Institute Dublin

Blended Learning Course A2.1

Blended Learning combines the benefits of live sessions with a teacher and other students and the flexibility of self-study on the learning platform. The course is divided equally between independent study and live-sessions, which leads to optimal learning results.

The UCC anchors for this cooperation are Dr. Werner Garstenauer and Sabine Manhartsberger. They will be engaging with the course in its first iteration, and shall be on hand to help with local enquiries.

HOW THE COURSE WORKS:

Online live sessions

You will attend online live teaching sessions with the teacher and the group.

The "face-to-face" classes take place once a week on Zoom. In these live sessions, you learn in a group of between 8 and 15 participants. You can exchange ideas with the other course participants in person or interactively via chat and forums. The teacher gives you individual feedback on your exercises and is available to answer questions.

Learning Platform

One part of the course is dedicated to self-study, where you have the chance to study at a time that suits you. You will be working through varied exercises on our modern learning platform.

Course times:

04.10.2021 – 05.12.2021 (no lessons on bank holiday Monday 25.10.2021)

8 weeks, 3 teaching units (45 minutes each) every Monday 6.30pm to 9.00pm, 3 units of self-study on the learning platform each week; 48 units per course

Fees:

425€ (full price)

385€ (cooperation discount for UCC staff members with valid ID)
