Mode of Teaching Delivery and Timetables - Department of German
The Department of German takes pride in taking an educational approach that places students at its centre. All our staff members are approachable and are happy to assist you should any issues arise.
Since under Covid-19 face to face meetings are restricted you will have fewer opportunities to meet us face to face. However, we are always available via email and happy to schedule meetings through Microsoft Teams/Google Meet in our office hours.
Please get in touch with us should you have any questions. For all our contact details, go to https://www.ucc.ie/en/german/staff/.
Most modules in our Department will have some form of classroom teaching in the coming academic year, subject to prevailing pandemic circumstances and public health guidelines. In line with the university policy, we commit to as much face to face teaching as possible. Depending on the public health guidelines as well as on student numbers, teaching will take place face to face where possible. However, if necessary, classes will be delivered online or in the form of blended teaching.
Full timetable and delivery information will be provided by each module coordinator from mid-September.
Please contact your programme/module coordinator should you need any further information regarding your programme or regarding any module.
In case you wish to discuss any health issues that might affect your return to campus in the pandemic environment, please contact the Head of Department.
