Geography is unique in that it examines the cultures, societies, physical landscapes and environments of the Earth using a unique combination social and natural sciences and the humanities.  Geographers view the Earth and its inhabitants through the processes that form and transform the world we live in using a spatial perspective. These perspective are essential to address issues around Sustainable Development and the challenges of Climate Change. Geographers use many tools and techniques in their work, and geographic technologies such as Geographical Information System(GIS) are increasingly important for understanding our complex world.   Geography’s interdisciplinary foundations opens up a wide variety of potential careers for our graduates and is widely appreciated by employers.
