Migration Pedagogy is a way to examine educational and pedagogical practices in the context of a migration society. Educational institutions on all levels are confronted with people that are affected by migration processes in different ways, this includes (the experiences of) teachers and learners, therefore structures and practices need to be reviewed. Migration Pedagogy provides a perspective and a foundation for this conversation as it considers the precarity of migration phenomena. It will contribute to a more reflective and critical discussion and assessment of our own practices as pedagogical actors in an institutional setting which is required to respond to the needs of its social composition.
