69th Irish Geoscience Research Meeting (IGRM 2026) coming to UCC

The School of Biological, Earth and Environmental Sciences will host the 69th Irish Geoscience Research Meeting (IGRM 2026) in Spring of 2026. This annual event showcases the diversity of cutting edge geoscience research that is currently breaking new ground in Ireland - and across the world.

The School of Biological, Earth and Environmental Sciences will host the 69th Irish Geoscience Research Meeting (IGRM 2026). This annual event showcases the diversity of cutting edge geoscience research that is currently breaking new ground in Ireland - and across the world.

IGRM 2026 kicks off on Friday February 27th with an evening Keynote Lecture, and is followed by two exciting days of talks and poster exhibitions. A second Keynote Lecture on Saturday evening, February 28th, will be followed by the IGRM 2026 conference dinner, to which all attendees are invited. The final day of the event is on Sunday March 1st 2026.

IGRM 2026 will take place at Boole 2 Lecture Hall.
