Plant science talk picks up prize
Tara Duggan was commended for a recent presentation at a conference in Spain.
Plant Science researcher Tara Duggan has received an award for her recent talk at an international symposium.
Tara gave the talk at the 3rd International Symposium on Organic Matter Management and Compost Use in Horticulture, which was held in Murcia, Spain. Her talk, Effects of compost and vermicomposted compost on shoot and root growth on Lettuce (Lactuca sativa cv. Webbs Wonderful) won the audience vote for most stimulating/challenging talk at the event.
Tara Duggan is a PhD student at the School of BEES under the supervision of Prof. Peter Jones.
