Evening courses open to all in Chinese, Japanese and Korean

PLACES ARE LIMITED AND WILL BE ALLOCATED ON A FIRST-COME , FIRST-SERVED BASIS.

    • All evening courses will run once a week for 10 weeks, 6:30-8:30pm. Start date to be announced.

Chinese - Intermediate

This course is mainly for learners with HSK1-2 level, who have learnt Chinese pinyin and daily Chinese conversations, ideally for learners who have studied textbook HSK1 Standard Course. The course will continue to use the same textbook, which will focus on the vocabulary, grammar, conversation and Chinese characters from Lesson 10.
 
If the number of applicants is less than 6, the course will be cancelled.
 
Please note: This class will be held online. You will need a device equipped with a webcam and a sufficiently fast internet connection to be able to participate in the online classroom.

Japanese - Beginners

This introductory Japanese course uses interactive and learner-centred approaches to provide students with a both an enjoyable learning experience and a practical foundation in both the spoken and written Japanese language. There is an emphasis on developing basic skills, which would be useful if visiting Japan or meeting a Japanese person for the first time. The course will also provide an introduction to both traditional and current aspects of Japanese culture and society. Absolute beginners and those with some knowledge of Japanese language welcome.
