Poetry Kitchen - fundraiser for Cork Penny Dinners

This Thursday December 5th there will be a fundraiser for Cork Penny Dinners in G27 (O'Rahilly Building) at 6pm

Poetry Kitchen will gather poets and writers from across the University to read a work of poetry or fiction on the topic of food, eating, cooking, etc. There will be a donation box left very visibly by the door along with cardboard boxes for non-perishable foods

Cork Penny Dinners is one of the oldest caring associations in city. Along with food and funding, the association would be grateful to receive hats, gloves and socks which they distribute over the winter months. We will gratefully accept anything you can contribute on the night.

Confirmed readers include, Graham Allen, Jimmy Cummins, Kathy D’Arcy, Jools Gilson, Sarah Hayden, Nicola Moffat, Mary Noonan, James O’Sullivan, Matthew Sweeney, Martín Veiga, Éibhear Walshe and Rachel Warriner.

We look forward to meeting you there for an evening of goodwill and poetry.
