Jose Luis Jobin from the Universidade Federal Fluminense (Brazil) will give a talk entitled: Literary Histories and Cultural Circulation: A Brazilian Perspective.
After presenting one of the perspectives relating to the European derivation of Latin literature and culture, we will then consider the issue of national affiliation, seeking to highlight certain aspects of the language and circumstances in which the unitary aspiration of the national, in its different manifestations, came into existence.
