IRCHSS funded Workshop takes place in Paris

Poetry and the Death of the Word - IRCHSS Workshop takes place in Paris, 4th July 2012 This week sees a further workshop funded under the New Ideas scheme of the Irish Research Council for the Humanities and Social Sciences. The workshop focuses on poetry as object of thought, with regard both to the transformation of belief that characterize the emergence of modernity and to poetry's own conditions of existence. This project is designed to extend links with research partners internationally and will be held in the Centre culturel irlandais in Paris.
