On Tuesday, 15th November, we marked the beginning of a career-long journey between our First Year (BPharm1) students and the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI), with a presentation and Q&A session. Dan Burns (Professional Standards Manager) and Pádraig Corbett (Professional Standards Officer) gave an engaging account of the role of the PSI, in the context of academic and professional development.

We were also joined virtually by Marianne Chung, a fourth year MPharm student from TCD, who is completing her 4th year experiential learning placement with the PSI. Marianne provided a detailed insight into her role and offered invaluable advice to the BPharm1 students regarding preparation for placements and tips on how to navigate the Pharmacy student journey.
