ArrayPatch microneedle project wins "Innovation of the Year" at the 2022 Ireland Pharma Awards

At the 2022 Pharma Industry Awards on 10 November held at the Dublin Royal Convention Centre, the ArrayPatch - University College Cork won "Innovation of the Year". ArrayPatch is a microneedle project led by Dr Waleed Faisal and his team.
It's fantastic to see one of the School of Pharmacy's research teams receive such a prestigious award that transforms commercially relevant research into investable, high-potential start-ups. This is one of many strong examples of innovative research and exciting developments in disruptive technologies that result in a positive global impact.
