The School of Nursing and Midwifery celebrates 30 years since its establishment in UCC.

From 1994 to 2024 and beyond
Professor Patricia Leahy-Warren, Dean and Head of the School, welcomed staff, students, UCC and Health Service colleagues together with retired staff to an event on Wednesday 11th December 2024 in Brookfield Health Sciences Complex. Professor Donna Fitzsimons, School of Nursing and Midwifery, Queen’s University Belfast delivered the Guest Speaker address. A presentation of archived photographs from events, conferences, achievements and celebrations spanning over the 30 years was displaying throughout the evening.
The School of Nursing and Midwifery 23rd Annual Research Conference was also held that day which enabled many delegates to also join the celebrations.
