UCC's Disability Support Service, in association with AHEAD (Association for Higher Education Access & Disability) & DAWN (Disability Advisors' Working Network), will host a one-day event for students with a disability or specific learning difficulty considering Higher Education Options in Ireland.
The event takes place on Wednesday, December 3rd from 9.30am-2.30pm, Devere Hall, Áras na Mac Léinn, UCC.
Universities and Institutes of Technology from across Ireland will exhibit programme information and will be on hand to discuss supports for students with disabilities in higher education. Parallel workshops on the CAO Supplementary Admissions Route will be held for prospective students with disabilities, their parents and also for Guidance Counsellors. Current students will also speak of their achievements and successes whilst studying with a disability in higher education.
